WITH YOUR FACE AND THE BEAUTIFUL EYES AND THE CONVERSATION WITH THE LITTLE WHITE LIES AND THE FADED PICTURE OF A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT YOU CARRIED ME FROM YOUR CAR UP THE STAIRS AND I BROKE DOWN CRYING WAS SHE WORTH THIS MESS AFTER EVERYTHING AND THAT LITTLE BLACK DRESS AFTER EVERYTHING I MUST CONFESS I NEED YOU
James’ favorite birthday gift was from Lily’s father: a muggle camera. (I’ve drawn this 4 months ago and I’m just publishing it now, I don’t even know why, it’s so silly :D).
“are there still beautiful things” makes me lose it btw because the entire album is proof that no, not in the same way there aren’t. good things happen and beautiful things exist but never again will we have the feeling of swinging out over a forest, thinking the entire world was ours. never again will we stand in weeds, not conscious of if we’re acting correctly. this lyric is so underrated because the answer is a resounding no and it is proven by every song on the album, and in the lakes, we see taylor trying to escape modern society so she can attempt to recreate this feeling.
